· For jointly filed tax returns, you can now enable your spouse/partner to sign the 8879 tax return directly from your logged-in session. This option becomes available only after you sign the return. The other signer will need to complete a one-time password (OTP) validation, and upon successful verification, they will be redirected to Nintex (AssureSign) to provide their electronic signature.
